Event Title: World Café: How To Make Your Business Last and Grow

Date and Time: Saturday 19th November 2016 from 14.45 to 16.30

Venue: MITA Innovation Hub, Smart City, Kalkara

Event Details: Sustainability is a key concern for any entrepreneur. Not only does the business have to be financially viable, it also has to remain relevant and attract the right kind of customers and employees. During this World Café event, issues concerning ‘how to make your business last and grow’ were discussed in an interactive and engaging format. The World Café involves participants in finding solutions, generating ideas and sharing best practices. You come away from it with concrete ideas that you can implement in your business.

This event was hosted by Carolin Zeitler, who joined the GEW Malta team after many years' involvement in GEW Qatar. A number of experienced entrepreneurs and mentors attended to share their knowledge and expertise with the participants. These include Professor Russell Smith - Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation, Dr Leonie Baldacchino - Director of The Edward de Bono Institute, Mr Alexander Borg - R&I Consultant at MITA Innovation Hub, and Ms Ana Maria Magri Pantea - founder and consultant at Ascent Consulting, and EU funding, innovation management and business development specialist.

Organised by: The Edward de Bono Institute, in collaboration with MITA Innovation Hub and People & Co Ltd.

Registration: This event was open to anyone with an interest in entrepreneurship and sustainability. Attendance was free of charge, but registration was required.

Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2019


This year, from 15th to 18th April, Bahrain shall host the 11th Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC). First Launched in 2009 in Kansas City, the GEC has successfully grown into a network of thousands of delegates from more than 170 nations. The GEC offers a platform which unifies the knowledge, voices and perspectives of various industry professionals ranging from policymakers, researchers, investors and entrepreneurs.
