Event Name: Visit to TAKEOFF Business Incubator

Date and Time: Thursday 22nd November 2018 from 14.00 to 16.00

Venue: TAKEOFF Business Incubator, University of Malta 

Event Details: TAKEOFF is a technology business incubator based at the University of Malta, aimed at helping entrepreneurs create successful STEAM (science, technology, engineering, creative media and knowledge-based), start-ups. This visit included a presentation by the Incubator Manager Ing. Joseph Bartolo and the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation Professor Russell Smith on the support and incentives they offer to start-ups, followed by a discussion with a few of the incubatees. 

Registration: This event was aimed at students who are reading for the Institute's Master in Creativity and Innovation, especially those enrolled for IOT5033. Other students were welcome to attend, subject to availability of space. Those who liked to attend, had to register by not later than Sunday 11th November 2018. Attendance was free of charge. 

Organised by: The Edward de Bono Institute in collaboration with TAKEOFF Incubator and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation, all at the University of Malta.
