A Maltese team attended a one week international teacher training course for early years' educators held in Kranevo, Bulgaria, between 27th and 31st August 2018 as part of MOVUp Erasmus Plus Project. The training focused particularly on the social and emotional aspects of early years education, with training topics including enabling learning environment, social and emotional learning, resilience, the child's perspective, discovery learning, historical art and enquiry based learning, empathic communication and story telling, and enquiry based science education. Prof Valerie Sollars and Prof Carmel Cefai formed part of the training team, whilst Eunice Bonello  and Christine Tanti (BEd Early Years) and Ottilia Terrible (KgE) were the trainees from Malta. The trainees will be implementing a programme of activities presented during the training in the coming scholastic year. Further details on the project may be found at  www.movup-project.eu
