The Faculty of Dental Surgery is responsible for the teaching and training of students seeking a profession within the multi-disciplinary fields of Dentistry. The Faculty, housed within Medical School, Mater Dei Teaching Hospital, currently covers all the specialisations in dentistry including Special Care Dentistry, Gerodontology and the allied health professions of Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology and Dental Surgery Assistance. The Master in Dental Surgery students also work closely with the students in Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology and Dental Chair-side Assistance offering them the opportunity to experience the environment of the dental team even while training. All tuition is carried out by specialised staff there to closely support and guide the small cohorts of students. We provide the following courses:
