Engaging the Contemporary is an annual international philosophy conference organised by the Department of Philosophy of the University of Malta. EtC seeks to promote an interdisciplinary approach to a variety of current debates, valorising the coming together of academics and graduate students to present rigorous papers about topics they are researching. EtC has hosted several prominent as well as up-and-coming scholars from all over the globe, promoting a professional and friendly approach, emphasising the role of engagement and on-going discussion about philosophical issues pertaining to contemporary times.
