Since Malta's Capital City, Valletta has been nominated European Capital of Culture 2018, you are reminded to book your Accommodation for the 17th ICPLA Conference as soon as possible due to the demand. The Corinthia Hotel, St George’s Bay is the designated conference venue with the Corinthia Marina and Radisson Hotel both within easy walking distance.

Before completing the  Registration Form, please ensure you have read the Data Privacy Statement. 

Early bird Registration Fee Deadline is 09 April 2018 midnight CET: 

Early bird Full Registration Fee for Participants: EUR 360.

Early bird Overseas Students' Registration Fee: EUR 280. 

Late Registration Fee payable until 15 October 2018 at 1000hrs CET:

Late Full Registration Fee for Participants: EUR 425.

Late Overseas Students' Registration Fee: EUR 320.  


The Registration Fee covers: Conference pack, 5 coffee breaks, 2 lunches, Welcome Reception. 

Local students and other participants interested in attending, should send an email to the Conferences and Events Unit.   

All students should email a scanned copy of their Student Card.  

Tuesday 23 October 2018: Welcome Reception

Included in Registration Fee for Participants.

Accompanying Persons: EUR 25.


Wednesday 24 October 2018: Optional Morning Tour of Valletta for Accompanying Persons

Price: EUR 35 per person including transport and lunch. (Min. no. of pax: 10)


Wednesday 24 October 2018: Optional Conference Dinner in Mdina

Price: EUR 45 per person including transport, guided tour and dinner. (Min. no. of pax: 17) 


Thursday 25 October 2018: Optional Afternoon Tour to the Three Cities

Price: EUR 35 per person including transport, guided tour and packed lunch. (Min. no. of pax: 10)


Cancellations may be made by sending an email and 75% will be refunded up to 30 March 2018. 50% will be refunded up to 13 July 2018. After that date, no further refunds will be possible.
