A walking tour through the narrow streets of Mdina with a stop at the imposing bastions to admire the panoramic view of most of the Island followed by an informal meal at the stylish Trattoria AD 1530 of the exclusive Xara Palace Hotel, a 17th Century Palace located within the fortified city.

A walk through the main streets of Valletta to the Barrakka Gardens for a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. Then on to St John’s Co-Cathedral, which is Malta’s greatest treasure trove and home to an impressive collection of art and artefacts, including Caravaggio’s The Beheading of St John the Baptist, one of the finest paintings in the world.
