The growing interest in this domain at the European level warrants the pursue of current and future proposed developments by the various stakeholders coming from industry, policy makers as well as game developers.
The scope of this conference is to bring together interested parties to identify a way forward for Malta's contribution to the field of games for serious applications.
Although virtual worlds and games for serious applications, find their primary use in education and training, this conference if offering the additional opportunity to enhance networking in the area and strengthen the collaboration between industry sectors and academic research for a more applied approach to designing and developing virtual worlds and games for training and education.
We are inviting various potential industry stakeholders from different sectors such as education, security and marketing in Malta to attend the conference. A panel discussion will be held on Friday 12th September 2014 amongst policy makers, and interested stakeholders.
Interested exhibitors/members of industry wishing to showcase their products are invited to attend. The conference venue will offer the space and opportunity to exhibit products as well as network with other industry representatives.
