Placement study-units

In addition to the study-units prescribed in the programme for the course, students can apply to the Faculty Board to register for extra study-units as indicated in the programme of study. These extra study-units which are listed hereunder, are available to students on a first-come-first-served basis, and are primarily intended to expose students to the world of work. Extra study-units cannot substitute compulsory, elective or optional study-units that form part of the official Senate-approved programme of study, and do not count towards the Year Average Mark or towards the Final Weighted Average Mark.
