Tania deals with Calls for Application and is responsible for the progression and assimilation of salary scales of University employees.

Analise joined the University of Malta in October of 2009.  She is presently involved in the day-to-day operations of the Salaries Section. Analise was promoted to the grade of Executive Officer in October 2016.

Karen is responsible for offering advice and support to academics and the project support staff on HR matters related to projects. She is also responsible for HR reviews of project proposals, ad hoc contracts, and monitoring of the recruitment and the contracts of employment process. Karen holds a Doctor of Social Science degree from the University of Leicester. Her research focused on the effect of organisational politics on workplace learning.  

Fiona

Fiona has been employed with the Office in November 2011. She has extensive experience in office related work and is presently responsible for the issuing of the Contracts of Employment. Fiona was promoted to the grade of Executive Officer in October 2016.

Head of Salaries, Salaries
Lina is responsible for the  Salaries Section within the Office for Human Resources Management and  Development. She ensures the  correct timely  payment  of all salaries payable to University of Malta and Junior College employees. Among other things Lina also ensures the upkeep of the service record for each and every employee.  Lina holds a Diploma in Social Studies (Industrial Relations) from the University of Malta.

Ann

Ms Ann Camilleri

Ann joined the Human Resources department in July of 2017 as a full-time Clerk, and is currently involved in the employment process of Visiting and Casual Academic Staff. Ann previously held the position of secretary within a private investment company before joining the University of Malta as a full-time Humanities student. She will be graduating in September of 2017.

Antoinette has been employed as a Clerk with the Office for Human Resources Management & Development since January 1993. Her work involved the management and updating of personnel files. Antoinette was promoted to the grade of Executive Officer in April 2000 and to the grade of Administrative Assistant in July 2008.  She is presently responsible for the calls for application in connection with projects.

Amanda joined the Office in March 2009 as a Graduate Trainee.  Presently she is working within the remit of the Academic Support Services Unit and is responsible for the Staff Affairs Committee and Training & Development. She obtained a B.A. (Hons) in Geography in December 2007 from the University of Malta and graduated with a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of Leicester in January 2012.

Francesca obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Management in 2014. She was previously employed in Italy as a receptionist and subsequently as a Director. Starting from 2018, she has been employed with University of Malta and has joined the Office for Human Resources Management & Development as a Graduate Trainee.

Health & Safety Officer, Health & Safety Services
Louis has been with the Office for Human Resources Management & Development since 2004 where he was employed as a Health & Safety Officer, and since then working on improvements in this area for the benefit of all University employees. Coming from the Ship Repair Industry and having further experience within the inspectorate of the Occupational Health & Safety Authority (OHSA), he specialised in Occupational Health & Safety where he graduated in 1998 and since then continued his studies in this area. A Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) and a registered competent person within the annals of the OHSA (Malta).  In July 2009, Louis graduated with a Masters in Occupational & Environmental Health & Safety Management from the University of Portsmouth.

Rosanne
Ms Rosanne Debattista

Rosanne was employed as a clerk at the University of Malta in August 1997.  She carried out duties within the Procurement Section of the Finance Office and her main tasks included the vetting and inputting of purchase orders.  She was promoted to the grade of Executive Officer in May 2002 and since November 2008, she took up duties with the Office for Human Resources Management & Development, where she has been responsible for the contracts of employment and is now involved with the recruitment of the Visiting and Casual Staff. Rosanne was promoted to the grade of Administrative Assistant in October 2016. Rosanne obtained the Diploma in Management Studies in June 2005 and in August 2008 completed her MBA (Executive) Degree with the University of Malta.

In July 2014 she joined the Office for Human Resources Management & Development as an Administrative Assistant and takes care of personnel management records. She is currently following an MSc in Management with Human Resources.

Victoria has been employed as a clerk with the Office for Human Resources Management since September 1997.  Victoria is presently the personal assistant of the Director for Human Resources Management & Development, and is also involved with Academic Support Services. Victoria gained experience in the area of Human Resources Management and has also been involved with Scholarships & Bursaries Applications and Awards. She was promoted to the grade of Executive Officer in the year 2002, as Administrative Assistant in September 2008 and as Administrative Officer in 2012.
