Automated Testing has become a dominant practise serving to ensure that software is functioning correctly. Despite the fact that technology in other domains has become standardised and prominent, there exist substantial difficulties when it comes to automating the testing of mobile applications. For instance, automating typical mobile device gestures such as pinching and panning is not a trivial task.

TiOS (Test iOS) is a Domain Specific Language (DSL) that is intended to automate iOS applications, allowing users to express test scripts in a simple and intuitive manner. Moreover, users are given the capability of executing these tests in any desired configuration environment, be it on an iOS device or simulator. TiOS has been carefully designed to embrace extensibility that regularly arises from version updates, enabling the continuous evolution of the language.
