Mr Francarl Galea received the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) in 2010 from the University of Malta. He is currently finalising his work towards an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. From 2010 to 2012 he was employed with the Department of Industrial Electrical Power Conversion as a Postgraduate Research Officer. In particular, he was investigating the design and implementation of wide input voltage range DC-to-DC converters for grid connected re-generative electronic loads. He is currently the systems engineer of the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics.
