Dr Nicholas J. Sammut received the B. Elec. Eng. (Hons) degree from the University of Malta in 2003. After finishing his first degree, he promptly carried on specialising by setting up a collaboration project between the University of Malta and CERN in Switzerland, for which he was awarded a Ph.D in 2006. He currently occupies the post of a senior lecturer with the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics with particular focus on Digital IC design and physical simulation of semiconductor devices.
