The Institute of Earth Systems organised a series of evening seminars during the academic year 2011/2012 which focused on selected research being carried out by its postgraduate students. Short presentations by students were followed by lively discussions, and these seminars were attended by the students’ supervisors, other academic staff members, and postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Institute.

Four postgraduate seminars were held during 2011/2012, and the following presentations were delivered by students reading for the Master in Environmental Management and Planning (MEMP) and the Institute’s M.Sc. by research:
