Dr. Everaldo Attard co-ordinates the Division of Rural Sciences and Food Systems within the Institute of Earth Systems. He lectures Pharmacognosy, Herb Science and Agricultural Chemistry to Pharmacy and Agricultural Students. He is also engaged in several research projects within these areas and is a national consultant with the Maltese Medicines Authority on Herbal Medicines. He represents Malta in several working groups on medicinal plants' genetic resources (ECP/GR), herbal medicines (HMPC) and homeopathic medicines (HMPWG). Dr Attard attended several conferences and published several works in peer-reviewed journals.
