How  to apply?

Interns interested in taking up internships at the University of Malta must first find an internship supervisor willing to host them for the duration of the internship.  

The full list of Faculties/Institutes/ Centers/Schools can be access through here. In case of difficulty students may contact Ms. Victoria Gauci.

The aim of the internship would need to be discussed with the prospective internship supervisor in order to determine whether the intern can be hosted or not.   

Once the internship details; namely internship supervisor, internship aims and dates are confirmed prospective interns are invited to submit the following:

- Internship Application Form 

The University of Malta charges an application fee of Euro 35 for new internship applications received.  This includes the IT Email account Administrative Fee.   The Internship Application Form must be compiled only once a tutor for the Internship has been identified.

Refund Policy: Applications Fees are non-refundable.

- Copy of the details page on Passport (ID Card is also accepted for EU Nationals)

- Research Proposal or Project including full name, date of birth, passport number, home address and home institution details countersigned by the Internship Supervisor.
