DESCRIPTION This study unit deals with the most important environmental concerns of islands and small states as identified in the 1994 Programme of Action for the Sustainable Development of Small Island States and in the 2005 Mauritius Strategy for the Sustainable Development of Small Island States. The topics to be covered include:
