Staff may wish to set up automatic forwarding of emails from their University address to another email address of their choice. Note that IT Services might not be able to assist with email problems that involve external systems. Staff should also consider the privacy and/or reliability of external email systems before setting up email forwarding.

Email forwarding is particularly useful for staff responsible for departmental (faculty, department, institute, committee etc.) email accounts. Such staff should make arrangements for incoming mail to be forwarded to someone that can handle these in their absence.
