Are you an Entrepreneur?
UOM Main Page

The Knowledge Transfer Office deals with collaborations with industry, protecting intellectual property, commercialising technology and accessing funding. How can we help you?

Business Incubation

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation offers a Master's and an Intensive Training Programme in Technology Entrepreneurship. The Centre also manages the TAKEOFF Business Incubator which offers a location on campus for your new business and services that will improve the chances of its success.

Accessing our network and identifying partners

The Knowledge Transfer Office is centrally positioned between students, technology, academics, governmental agencies, businesses and investors. In many cases, entrepreneurs need a scientist or a professional on board to assist with the development of their technology or business, or to innovate into new product spaces, new applications or new markets. Have a look at some of our technologies.

TAKEOFF is in the process of engaging with experienced mentors and potential business angels who are interested in supporting and investing in tech start-ups. To learn more, visit the TAKEOFF website.

Adopting start-ups

If you have experience as an entrepreneur and are interested in engaging with our researchers to support the setting up of a start-up based on our technologies, let’s talk.

The Knowledge Transfer Office organises a number of events throughout the year. To view our calendar of upcoming events, visit our events page.

Events being organised by the local start up community can be found on Meetup
