The UM Library would like to invite you to participate in an Information Literacy Workshop on Monday, 27th November, from 12:00 hrs till 14:00 hrs at Gateway Building, Hall C. 

The workshop will help you understand the need for referencing and the importance of spotting fake news. You will also gain knowledge on how to use the UM's plagiarism-prevention software - Turnitin and learn what are the consequences of plagiarism! The agenda for the session is as follows:

12:00 hrs - 12:40 hrs: Consequences of plagiarism

12:45 hrs - 13:05 hrs: Referencing (but be careful what you reference)

13:35 hrs - 14:00 hrs: Turnitin Demonstration
