| Abstract: | In this chapter, the author talks about the emergence of a Copper Age culture through new techniques of economy and manufacture together with new social and cultural customs, evidence of which can be seen through the material culture and burials. Due to it's vicinity to Sicily, Malta shared some characteristics with the Italian Copper Age. |
