Abstract: Like there is always light whenever the phenomenon of a mirage is
made manifest, so also there is always truth involved whenever the
illusion of name (Skt.1 nāman) is distilled and differentiated from a word
(Skt. pada, a step) derived from its core verbal syllable, mined from
some seminal sound (Skt. dhatu) and articulately distilled from some
form of excellence, some form of behavioural gesture, the result of
neural and cognitive mechanisms. The same neural and cognitive
mechanisms that allow us to perceive and move around also create our
conceptual structures and modes of reason. [extract]

Authors: Costanza, Salvatore
Abstract: Immigration is a complex phenomenon which undeniably poses
challenges to contemporaries societies. Immigrants may often face
prejudices and discrimination from some members of the host
community. Churches and religious leaders of Western countries are
especially involved in welcoming migrants to their new environment
and also in favouring an inclusion policy in host societies. Mind-sets
of inclusive and welcoming contexts must be promoted as an essential
factor in social existence, stability and peace, in a broad future vision of
the common interest. Beyond any doubt, majority group’s religion can
exert a notably positive effect on tolerance and acceptance of forcibly
displaced people regardless of national boundaries. [extract]

Authors: Muarem, Enis
Abstract: The 21st century has been marked by rapid globalization, technological
advancements, and unprecedented cultural exchanges. These
developments have brought diverse communities closer together,
fostering opportunities for mutual understanding but also creating
challenges in terms of coexistence and integration. Among the most
significant issues in this context is the relationship between Islam,
as a comprehensive religious system, and Western society, which is
predominantly shaped by secularism, liberalism, and individualism. [extract]

Title: Religion, humanity, and the church : walking together?
Authors: Rozman, Mateja Pevec
Abstract: Human beings cannot be definitively defined. Every definition is
merely an attempt to approach the mystery of human essence, yet
such attempts inherently impose limitations. Nonetheless, the question
of human identity remains one of the most fascinating topics explored
by philosophy and philosophical anthropology, which offer various
conceptions of humanity. One such definition of the human condition
is the concept of the religious being. Humans transcend the order of
this world, shaping their nature, finding meaning, and rising above it. As
a person, the human rises above the immediate present, transcending
themselves as a natural being. There is no human devoid of their
natural givenness, nor is there a human outside of their nature, yet
they are never solely this given state. [extract]
