Abstract: A seminar in the Works in Progress seminars series in the social studies entitled 'Money for here and home: economic strategies of migrant women.'  This talk is delivered by Christiane Hellermann from Humboldt University, Berlin. Ms Hellerman also lectures on Anthropology of Migration at the University of Malta. Based on case studies, Ms Hellermann reveals not only the problems many of these migrants face, but also their possibilities of agency.
