It discusses efforts to improve the efficiency of examination and assessment processes through the adoption of digital technologies, including Wiseflow, and the potential use of multiple-choice and true-or-false assessments where pedagogically appropriate. The newsletter also highlights the judicial work of Judge Professor David J. Attard as President of the Seabed Disputes Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in proceedings involving Tonga Offshore Mining Ltd. and the International Seabed Authority. Title: Faculty of Laws Newsletter : June 2026 : issue 41 Abstract: This newsletter reports on recent scholarly, educational, international, and public engagement activities of the Faculty of Laws at the University of Malta. It highlights the publication and promotion of the first edition of the Malta Journal of Legal Studies, including opportunities for double-blind peer-reviewed contributions and the planned production of printed copies.
