Abstract: Francesco Paolo is reporting over some research conducted on four particular families. The end
of the missive describes the passage of some Greek ships that called at Malta laden with corn,
and that had found no opportunity to discharge (presumably sell) their cargo and had thus sailed
off elsewhere. [excerpt]

Title: A rare golden beauty of the butterfly Troides Aeacus
Abstract: Butterflies are the most gentle and beautiful creatures on
the planet. Nature never ceases to astound us. There are birds
the size of a butterfly. And surprisingly, there are butterflies the size of a bird.
With a wingspan of 16 cm, the Golden Birdwing is a large butterfly indeed - and a
very beautiful one too, with a red head and thorax. Its forewings are black, and its
hindwings yellow. Intricate black veins run across its wings, making it a vision to
behold. This beauty is a sight to behold. [excerpt]
