Title: MP, Minister and Speaker Abstract: Mr. Tabone entered the political sphere almost inadvertently. He is the son of Dr. Anton Tabone, who previously served as the Superintendent of the Victoria Hospital and was the founder and first president of the Gozo Civic Council in 1961. Mr. Tabone began his political journey at the age of 28 when he contested the 1966 election, a decision influenced by his father's serious health issues while he was an MP.
