Our film industry dates back to 1925 when Malta was used a film location for the very first time. Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, Wolfgang Petersen, and other renowned directors, as well as a host of A-list celebrities such as Russell Crowe, Brad Pitt, and Jim Caviezel to mention a few, all experienced Malta's movie making facilities and its many charms. Through many years of filming, Malta has already taken care of the necessary infrastructure.
