Title: Voci e termini Maltesi usati dai Calzolai
Abstract: In this essay the author gives a list of Maltese entries and terms which are of use in shoe shops and other ancient arts and trades. Due to the trade relationship between the Maltese people and the Sicilians, new words started being used for certain traded materials which are commonly used in crafts. Certain words caught up and started being used by the Maltese. Most of these terms were listed for the first time in a Maltese newspaper "ll-Habbar tal-Maltin" in 1860.
