Authors: Filipe, Jose Antonio; Genc, Tolga
Abstract: The situation of buildings degradation is very severe in many cities in the world. The case of a degraded building is studied in this article. The building becomes ruined because owners do not agree about what to do with the building and no one can use it without the consent of the others. Besides, time makes the building become with a lower value.
After a long period of degradation, the question “what doing now?” is posed. Considering the situation of many degraded buildings, the present study aims to analyze a possible cause and work a situation of anti-commons concerning a building owned by several holders having each one exclusion rights. We use SWOT Analysis to build strategies for this anti-commons’ real estate case.
Then Fuzzy DEMATEL model is applied to understand the relations between strategies for a final decision. Conclusions allow understanding the relations between strategies and how they influence each other to get a final decision for this problem.
For our case, we recommend a concrete strategy to the owners after evaluating the preferences of the decision makers.

Authors: Gumpert, Marcus
Abstract: The following article analyzes why an extension of the core-peripheral model is necessary for realistic economic use. The starting point is the core-peripheral model from Krugman. Various modifications are then made to make the Krugman model more robust, growth-oriented, and realistic.
The models by Ricardian, Heckscher-Ohlin, Krugman, and Solow are combined by the author. This new model provides a general explanation model that is advantageous for the most diverse analyses that is, from rigid to dynamic, and growth theory-oriented model frameworks.
The Ricardian model provides an immobile factor of work, perfect competition, distribution-free productions, comparative cost advantages, and constant economies of scale. The Heckscher-Ohlin theorem provides a second mobile input factor capital and production functions according to the equipment of the regions.
The core-peripheral model provides aspects of monopolistic competition, cost functions, transportation costs, and spatial distribution. Depreciation rates, investment rates, and savings rates are taken over from the Solow model.
We define the following parameters in the new model variant: reasons for model expansion, input factors, technology components, transportation costs, investment rate, savings rate, outputs, number of business/distribution, cost functions, consumer benefits, goods prices, wages, returns, and incomes.

Abstract: As part of its Digital Single Market strategy, the European Commission has identified the issue of combating the illegal content online as a key challenge for online platforms. It has now released guidance to online platforms containing a set of principles for tackling not permitted content , that appears online into the European platforms. The guidelines , as a tool of struggling the impermissible content works and has a focus on three stages of the process: finding the illegal or impermissible content; erase it from online platforms; and avoid it from re-appearing online in platforms. The Commission's work is motivated by concerns that the removal of illegal content online continues to be insufficiently effective – incitement to terrorism, illegal hate speech, or child sexual abuse material, as well as infringements of Intellectual Property rights and consumer protection online need to be tackled across the EU with determination and resolve. The Commission’s approach of fully privatising freedom of expression online, it’s almost complete indifference diligent assessment of the impacts of this privatisation.

Authors: Sumiati; Rofiq, Ainur; Pramono, Sigit
Abstract: This study aims to investigate the impact of environmental turbulence, strategic planning and strategic flexibility toward market orientation. One hundred and eighty-six managers of Small and Medium Enterprises in Malang City, Indonesia were surveyed by using purposive sampling technique.
Data was analysed by using Partial Least Squares. Internal environment has positive significant effects on both strategic planning and strategic flexibility. This study also found a significant effect of external environment on strategic flexibility and strategic planning.
The study determined that strategic planning played an important role in mediating the effect of business performance on market orientation. The model is considered a comprehensive model because it was not only analysing important constructs namely external and internal environment, strategic planning and strategic flexibility, but also tested the interrelationships among these constructs in predicting market orientation.
The study also provides empirical evident about the mediation role of strategic planning on the effect of external environment on market orientation and also on the mediating role of strategic planning on the relationship between internal environment on market orientation.
