Title: Maltese stamps of 1926-1930 used on cover
Abstract: It is debatable whether the three Maltese definitive issues from 1926 to 1930
are the most beautiful stamps ever issued in Maltese philately.
These issues consist of three separate sets:
• 1926-1927 inscribed "POSTAGE" set - 17 stamps
• 1928 overprinted "POSTAGE AND REVENUE" set - 19 stamps
• 1930 inscribed "POSTAGE & REVENUE" set - 17 stamps
Each of these definitive series represents an important transitional period in
Malta's postal history and remains highly sought after, particularly when found
genuinely used on cover.
