Title: Dak li stajt niftakar fuq hija Laurent Ropa
Abstract: Patri Piju K. Rapa was asked to write a few words about his brother Laurent Ropa after he passed away. Here Piju shares with the readers what he remembers of his brother, the days living in Bone (Algiers) where Piju was born and the years when he returned back to Malta. He says that he never met his brother Laurent after Piju settled in Malta. There was an age gap between the two brothers and after the death of their mother, Piju was brought to Malta and Laurent moved to France where he married and lived until his death. He mentions the mixup of their surnames 'Ropa' and 'Rapa' , as their father being a Gozitan used to pronounce Rapa as Ropa and this resulted in an error in formal papers which changed Laurent's name to Ropa.1967-01-01T00:00:00Z[Gabra ta' kitbiet : Lehen il-Malti, Ghadd 12] - Militi ignoto (b'tifkira ta' zjara lic-cimiteri ta' Alamejn) ; Bernadetta ddoq il-pjanu ; Nghannilek, binti ; Bernadetta tonfoh flawt ; Indiema ; Bandieri Maltin ; Mhix indiema! ; "Din hi t-trejqa tieghek" ; Il-jum tat-tieg ; Hdejn ic-cimiterju ta' l-addolorata f'Novembru ; It-'Titanic' ; Ix-xorti tieghi ; Int min int? ; Fittixt

Abstract: In this critical analysis Emanuel Mifsud writes about two of Guze Aquilina's works that refer to the social problems seen at that time. These two works are, the book of essays "Il-polz ta' Malta" and the novel "Taht tliet saltniet".
