Cremona Abstract: The MPM marked the end of 2019 with an E.V. Cremona retrospective held in two of the Museum's galleries. The intention being to chart the artistic journey of the pioneering modernist that Cremona was - from the mid-40s to his last works prior to his passing in 1987. As many of are familiar with Cremona's philatelic designs, we thought it important too, to highlight the versatility of this multitalented artist through other sketches and drawings and where possible to relate them to his larger and better-known paintings.
