Title: Aligning pharmacy education with evolving community practice : a comparative study of Europe and Mauritius
Abstract: INTRODUCTION : Community pharmacy practice in Europe has evolved from a dispensing-focused model to a clinically oriented, patient-centred profession supported by structured competency frameworks, experiential education and integration within primary care systems. In Mauritius, community pharmacy remains largely product-focused, with limited formal recognition of pharmacist-led clinical services.; AIMS : This study aims to explore how differences in regulatory and organisational frameworks influence professional roles and examines the implications for pharmacy education and curriculum development.

MUŻA di La Valletta : conversazione con Sandro Debono

Title: MUŻA di La Valletta : conversazione con Sandro Debono
Authors: Rinaldi, Marco; Debono, Sandro
[estratto]
Description: The MUŻA concept was conceived and developed by Dr Sandro Debono between 2014 and 2024. These papers collectively stand for the concept’s main wireframe.

Gramsci y la educación

Title: Gramsci y la educación
Authors: Borg, Carmel; Buttigieg, Joseph A.; Mayo, Peter
Authors: Borg, Carmel; Cardona, Mario; Caruana, Sandro
Abstract: From 1954 to 1967, a unique "one-teacher school" operated in the remote Italian village of Barbiana, founded by the local priest, Lorenzo Milani. He saw his pastoral duty primarily as providing children from peasant families with an effective tool for equality—language proficiency and the ability to express themselves. A summary of his teaching work was the "Letter to a Teacher," co-written by him and his students—a manifesto on what a school should (and should not) be.
