Abstract: The Manoel Theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis present the programme for their vocal and instrumental concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, with chorus instructress Bice Bisazza. The concert also starred baritone singer Victor Gauci, and soprano singer Hilda Mallia Tabone. The concert featured the musical works of Rossini, Haydn, and Fauré. The performance was held on the 30th of March, 1969, at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta.
Description: Two versions of programme included: one standard programme including performer's signatures, and one souvenir programme without signatures. Standard programme includes list of songs including composers and descriptions, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre. Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Malta Band Clubs' Association (M.B.C.A), with the cooperation of Rediffusion (Malta) LTD., present the programme for a vocal and instrumental concert performed by the National Band of Malta and the Ħamrun Choir, under the direction of Mro. Carmelo Caruana and Mro. N. Mifsud. The concert featured the musical works of Maltese composers N. Mifsud, Jos. Abela Scolaro, and Carmelo Pace. The concert also featured the musical works of Dvořák, Mascagni. and Bizet. The concert was held on the 11th of January, 1969, at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta.
