Title: Through the AI thinking space : an autoethnographic tale of unexpected insight
Authors: Jeremiah, Faith
Abstract: PURPOSE: Throughout history, storytelling has been a cornerstone of human experience. Our
ancestors told tales around their fires that became the bedrock of entire cultures. Beyond
mere entertainment, these stories were crucial in imparting essential cultural values,
wisdom, and a sense of collective identity. They served as a medium for passing down
knowledge and strengthening communal bonds, blending reality with imagination to expand
the realms of possibility. This age-old tradition is not just about recounting events; it is a
way of making sense of the world, interpreting the past, and envisioning what the future
might hold. In the same spirit, I present to you my narrative, not just as a recounting of
events, but as a journey of sensemaking. It’s a story captured in real-time, reflecting my
experiences with collective real and artificial insights as I navigate extensive engagement
with ChatGTP4.; DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: In a quiet corner of an academic's mind, a dialogue began
– not with a colleague, nor a book, but with an AI named ChatGPT4. This narrative unfolds
over several months, during which each textual exchange could catalyze a surge in creative
thought and higher-order thinking.; FINDINGS: As a reflective interface, ChatGPT4 reveals oblivious habitual patterns, that were
obstructing the next level of creative and advanced thinking. This autoethnographic
narrative, a blend of technology and introspection, weaves a story that transcends
conventional research, portraying AI as an analytical tool allied with the unintended quest
for cognitive insight.; PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The scholar, initially the conductor of queries and task setting,
unwittingly becomes a student of their own mental landscape, resulting from inquisitions into
their extensive textual communication.; ORIGINALITY/VALUE: This approach is crucial as it extends traditional ethnographic focus from
solely human societies to the complex dynamics of digital communities, including AI entities.

Title: Enhancing human security : balancing medical confidentiality and criminal justice
Authors: Kamińska-Nawrot, Aneta; Bieńkowska, Daria; Falecki, Janusz; Depczyński, Rafał Piotr; Czarnecki, Dawid
Abstract: PURPOSE: Information covered by medical confidentiality is important in a criminal trial and
ensure patient safety. They belong to the evidence prohibitions that make it difficult or
impossible to obtain information about the patient. The legislator, being aware of the
limitations in determining material truth, tried to reconcile the implementation of tasks under
the penal procedure with the patient's interest.; DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: In this article, we take note that respecting medical
confidentialy is one of the fundamental rights for patients and physician.; FINDINGS: The implementation of Human Security Framework argument relates to the
centrality of rhetoric in implementic human rights prism in legal order. In that much of the
“reality” surrounding human rights is fundamentally interpretive, human security rhetorical
framework plays a key role presenting that a rights ideal can secure legal orders in a culture
predisposed to reject that ideal.; PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: A correct analysis of medial confidential in the prism of Human
Security Framework put, the argument here is that concern for how particular individuals
advocate for human rights causes adds significant value to understanding the fundamental
meaning in protection this institution and its role in criminal trial.; ORIGINALITY/VALUE: The publication systematizes the most important issues of human security
framework in legal order, particulary in criman trial.

Capital adequacy standards on the case of selected banks in Poland under economic uncertainty

Title: Capital adequacy standards on the case of selected banks in Poland under economic uncertainty
Authors: Klus, Sylwia; Stefański, Artur; Urbanowicz, Zuzanna; Wanat, Leszek
Abstract: PURPOSE: The aim of the study was to identify and assess the determinants of capital
adequacy on the case of selected banks in Poland under economic uncertainty.; DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: The research used selected capital adequacy measures
recommended by the central bank and the Financial Supervision Commission. The standards
were verified in 2018-2022 for purposively selected banks in Poland: ING Bank Slaski S.A.,
mBank S.A. and Bank Millennium S.A. The assessment was based on a comparative analysis
of the reviewed banks' financial statements.; FINDINGS: As a result of the descriptive analysis, it was confirmed that the reviewed banks,
despite the risk of economic uncertainty, met the stansards of capital adequacy during the set
period. In this context, particularly sensitive risk areas of banking activities were identified.; PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: In business practice, the monitoring of financial adequacy standards
informs both banks and entrepreneurs: about business risks, the need to modify credit policy,
the need for recapitalization. It is a useful 'barometer' of economic uncertainty verification.; ORIGINALITY/VALUE: Permanent evaluation of banks' capital adequacy standards, based on
selected evaluation measures, allows monitoring the risk of banking activity under
conditions of economic uncertainty.

Attributes of the agile university education program in the conditions of knowledge-based economy

Title: Attributes of the agile university education program in the conditions of knowledge-based economy
Authors: Kwasek, Artur; Kocot, Maria; Golińska-Pieszyńska, Małgorzata; Fiks, Artur; Kandefer, Krzysztof
Abstract: PURPOSE: The aim of the article is to identify the key attributes of the agile university
education program in the conditions of the knowledge-based economy. The research aims to
determine which elements of the programme are most valued by students and how they can
be improved to better respond to the needs of the labour market.; DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: The research was conducted in 2023 using a survey method
involving 1103 respondents from various universities. The data analysis included assessing
the attractiveness of the coursework, personalising the curriculum, the availability of online
resources and other key aspects of agile learning.; FINDINGS: The results of the study indicate that flexibility, personalization, and accessibility
of online resources are key attributes of an agile learning program. Students highly rated the
possibility of choosing the form of conducting classes and the readability of the assessment
rules, which contributes to their greater commitment and effectiveness of learning.; PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The results of the research can be used by universities to optimize
their curricula, increasing their attractiveness and adaptation to the needs of students and
the labor market. The implementation of the recommendations will allow for better
preparation of graduates for the dynamically changing conditions of the knowledge-based
economy.; ORIGINALITY/VALUE: The article provides unique insights into student preferences in the
context of agile learning, highlighting the importance of flexibility and personalization of
study programs. The research adds value to the existing literature by offering practical
guidance to universities on how to improve their educational processes.
