      <description>Title: Vocal and orchestral concert (Programme)
Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the La Valette Fifth Centenary Celebrations Committee presents the programme for a vocal and orchestral concert, conducted by Mro. Michael Laus, led by Marcelline Agius, and performed by the Manoel Theatre Orchestra. The concert featured a choir led by choir master Mro. Dion Buhagiar. The concert featured the musical works of Nicolò Isouard, Joseph Agius, and Charles Camilleri. The performance was held on the occasion of the XXXIVth CIESM Congress, on the 30th of March, 1995, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes list of featured music including composers and short note on pianist Alan Joseph Chircop, lists of soloists, pianist and choir members, and detailed note on the play "The Maltese Cross" including detailed descriptions on particular musical pieces within the play. The programme also included a separate paper likely given at the time of the event, informing that the Isouard Variations would not be performed due to the indisposition of pianist Alan Chircop. Abstract: Manoel Theatre and Maleth, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and Culture, present the programme for the 3-act operetta "Il-Konti ta' Lussemburgo", adapted and translated to Maltese from Franz Lehár's "Der Graf von Luxemburg" by Joe Fenech (with verses by Raymond Mahoney), musically directed by Mario Bisazza, and artistically directed by Salvu Mallia. The performance featured Kor Santa Monica (led by Sr Beniamina Portelli), and choreography designed by Abigail Mallia. The performance also featured the Alicia Joy Dancers, choreographed by Alicia Joy Cachia. The performance was held from the 28th till the 30th of April, 1995, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
