Title: Information technology
Abstract: The term "Information Technology" (now generally abbreviated
to IT) is a comparatively recent addition to the English language.
It has been defined in many different ways. The most suitable definition
for our purposes is:
"Information Technology is concerned with systems for the
creation, acquisition, processing, storage, retrieval, selection, transformation,
dissemination and use of vocal, pictorial, textual and
numerical information. Current systems typically utilize a microelectronics-
based combination of computing and telecommunications."

Title: Francis Ebejer u qiegh l-Iceberg ta' gzira Mediterranja
Abstract: Francis Ebejer huwa l-isem sinonimu mat-tejatru "modern"
Malti. Huwa l-isem ta' min inqata' mit-tradizzjoni tejatrinali
Maltija, biex ta dimensjoni aktar wiesgha lill-idjoma tejatrali Maltija.
Fil-kitbiet tejatrali tieghu nsibu t-tejatru rejalistiku, it-tejatru naturalistiku,
it-tejatru espressjonista u t-teajtru ta' l-assurd, jekk dawn l-
isijiet ifissru xi haga.
Il-'fenomenu' Ebejer halla l-ewwel impronta tieghu fil-kuntest
Malti lejn tmiem is-sittinijiet. Huwa kiteb b'idjoma li lahqet il-poplu
- aktar milli b'dik li nistghu nsejhulha komprensjoni ta' dak li 1-
karattri tieghu jkunu qeghdin ighidu, aktar bl-effett tejatrali u l-istat
ta' rwieh imqallba li jikkaratterizzaw id-drammi.

Interlude with the Lehrs : no surrender in the Power and the Glory

Title: Interlude with the Lehrs : no surrender in the Power and the Glory
Abstract: The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene describes the
wanderings of an unnamed Catholic priest on the run in a persecuted
part of Mexico during the late 1930s. The novel is based on
Greene's own travel book, titled The Lawless Roads, in which we find
descriptions of the author's observations as he travels across Mexico
in 1938. Fiction in the novel and fact in the travel account parallel
each other in various ways and many are the affinities of character,
incident and place. For this reason, The Power and the Glory has a
special relation to reality, for not only are the fictional characters and
events treated as if they actually happened but there is an aesthetic
narrative quality of telling the truth about it all.
