Abstract: The Royal University Students Cine  Association (R.U.S.C.A.) launches the first full length&#xD;
colour feature in Maltese, "Ġagga", filmed from the novel by Frans Sammut, "II Gagga". It was filmed in&#xD;
8mm and blown up to 16mm. A major achievement for producer Sammy Cremona and director Mario Philip Azzopardi. Music by Spiridion Vincent Buhagiar. The film starred Ray Camilleri, Vitorin Galea, Charles Arrigo, Victor Apap, Karmen Azzopardi, Josephine Zammit Cordina and Charles Thake, amongst others.
