      <description>Title: Romanian Orchestra of Engineers (Programme)
Abstract: Manoel Theatre, in collaboration with the Chamber of Engineers (Malta), present the programme for a concert conducted by Andrei Iliescu, led by Mircea Dimitrie Cazacu, and performed by the Romanian Orchestra of Engineers. The concert featured the musical works of Rossini, Haydn, Sibelius and Mozart. The performance was held on the 23rd of May, 2006, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two copies of programme included, one with soloists Maria Haiduc's, Ileana Ionesti's and Prof Dr Mircea Cazacu's and conductor Andrei Iliescu's signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, list of sponsors to the Manoel Theatre Management Committee, notes with details on performances and bookings at the Manoel Theatre, foreword written by Chamber of Engineers' president Ing Helga Pizzuto with her photo, essay on Romanian Orchestra of Engineers, note advertising Culture 2000 programme, notes with photos on soloists Maria Haiduc, Ileana Ionesti and Prof Dr Mircea Cazacu, annotated photo of Romanian Orchestra of Engineers' founder Dr Petru Ghenghea presenting the orchestra's latest CD to former Romanian Presdent Ion Iliescu at the 2004 Presidential Music Award, note with photo on conductor Andrei Iliescu, list of featured music including composers, essay on Manoel Theatre's history, list of members of the Romanian Engineers Orchestra, notes on featured music, and short note with related photo on the inauguration of the Manoel Theatre. Abstract: Manoel Theatre and Bank of Valletta (BOV) present the programme for the 3-act tragic opera "Rigoletto", written by Francesco Maria Piave, with music composed by Giuseppe Verdi, and artistically directed by Miriam Gauci (with assistant John Gauci), with musical direction from Michael Laus. The performance was held as part of the BOV Opera Festival 2006. The performance featured the Orkestra Nazzjonali (led by Marcelline Agius), and the Manoel Theatre Opera Chorus (directed by chorus master Christopher Muscat and assistant Joe Fenech). The performance also featured choreography created by Tanya Bayona. The performance was held on the 15th and the 17th of March, 2006, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.

Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Johann Strauss School of Music present the programme for the School of Music's Prize Day, featuring performances from students of the School of Music including the School of Music's Brass Ensemble (conducted by Mr Philip Ciantar), Chamber Ensemble (conducted by Mr Antoine Frendo), and Vocal Ensemble (conducted by Ms Claire Massa). The concert featured the musical works of Bach, Bartók, Piazzolla, and Rachmaninoff. The performance was held on the 30th of March, 2006, at Sala Isouard in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
