Abstract: This work aims to investigate the child labour in general, both globally but with a special reference for the Maltese islands and to check whether if it exist, what causes it, and its effects and how it is being treated, and dealt with. It is even meant to take a glance at the legislation and discuss what is being done and how it is even considered in the eyes of the law. This is based upon data gathered through primary and secondary research. This study is to verify and help us and make more awareness of what children feel and think when they are part of this force. The dissertation aims to investigate and analyse the child labour situation.
