Abstract: The last time the Province published a Catalogue of our Brothers, both those residing in our Fraternities in Malta and abroad was in 1992 by our predecessor Br Francis Azzopardi OFMCap, after a lapse of many years. The updating of the Catalogue is necessary due to the fact, that there have been new appointments of Brothers, new candidates, changes in addresses and telephone numbers, deaths etc. An important aspect of the policy formulated by the Provincial Definitory is to keep as much as possible a high level of consistency in the communication media. Besides our Circular Letters and Meetings that are often held in the Province, we feel that such a Catalogue-Directory will help us further to come closer to our aim. The Catalogue is an important means of communication, not only amongst ourselves, but also with others outside our country; for it helps everyone learn more about the diverse aspects of presence - mission - in the Church. We feel it would be an efficacious source of communication especially with our Superiors in the General Curia, the Provinces of the European English Capuchin Conference (E.E. C. C.) the North America Capuchin Conference (N.A.C.C.) and such other constituted bodies everywhere, with which we have special cooperation and collaboration. With this publication, we would like to sincerely give praise and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, and to each and every member of our Fraternity for all the pastoral ministry that is being done in the Province and abroad. This we humbly believe is a witness of our Franciscan Capuchin Charism in today's world. [Excerpt by Br Philip Cutajar]
