| Abstract: | This paper presents results deriving from an ongoing research programme to evaluate the wind resource at different sites in the Maltese Islands. The aims of this study are being attained by a combination of short- and long-term wind measurement programmes coupled to analysis of results generated by the WAS P program. This methodology attempts to establish parameters appertaining to the local wind resource with the primary aim of determining the islands’ wind generating potential. |
