This paper discusses that throughout the ancient Mediterranean, the Greeks were not the only ones influencing other cultures. This can be seen at the multi-period site of tas-Silg in Malta and in Sicily where many cult artifacts such as statuettes and steles have been found to be of Punic origin. Archaeological links between Tunisia, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia and Italy are discussed through the various artifacts found during excavations.en_GB
