Abstract: The Manoel Theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis present the programme for their vocal and instrumental concert "Missa da Requiem", conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, with a chorus instructed by Bice Bisazza. The concert featured a performance of the complete musical work of "Missa da Requiem" composed by Antonio Nani. The concert was led by George Spiteri, and starred singers Antoinette Miggiani, Catherine Azzopardi, Andrew Sapiano, and Joe Vella Bondin. The performance was held on the 7th of June, 1972, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Includes two versions of programme, one regular programme (without any signatures) and one souvenir programme (with performers' signatures). Regular programme include list of featured music in "Missa da Requiem", note with photo on Maltese composer Anton Nani, and list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee. Souvenir programme includes essay on the Six Generations of Nani (composer bloodline), lists of featured female and male choir members, photos of conductor Joseph Sammut and soloist singers Antoinette Miggiani, Catherine Azzopardi, Andrew Sapiano, and Joe Vella Bondin, biographical note with photo on Maltese Composer Anton Nani, list of features music in "Missa da Requiem", photo of Chorus Melitensis, and list of committee members of Chorus Melitensis.
