Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Cana Movement (on behalf of UNICEF) present the programme for the event "Malta Għall-UNICEF", presented by comperes Charles Saliba and Maryanne Scerri, and featuring a series of music, folk dance, modern dance, and ballet performances, as well as readings of literature and poetry. The event involved the participation of the St Julian's Choir, the Miss Lungaro Midsud School, The Yada Girls, the De La Salle Children's Choir (directed by Mrs A. Cassar), The Greenfields, and The Mary Jane Bellia Dancing Studio. The event was held on the 24th and the 25th of October, 1987, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes list of featured performance items including their performers with some signatures, list of acknowledgements from the event coordinators, short note on a raffle occurring on the 25th of October, list of programme coordinators with some signatures, list of Malta committee members for UNICEF with some signatures, list of crew from Manoel Theatre, and list of acknowledgements from the Manoel Theatre Management Committee. Also includes separate paper with list of forthcoming events in November at the Manoel theatre. Programme is given no. 1138 in archival records. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records.
