dc.description.abstractIt is usual practice that the Editor writes a few words in every issue of the Malta Medical Journal. However, this time I am writing this brief introduction as the Chairman of the new editorial board of this Journal. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous editorial board for the sterling work they have performed during their tenure of office.
