Abstract: Concerns regarding climate change and its impact on tourism have been well documented over the last ten years. Key to these debates are, of course, the impact that predicted climate change threats are currently having on tourism. The paper aims, through qualitative research, to 'probe and explore' the current and contemporary issues pertaining to climate change for Malta and the Mediterranean. The issues reviewed aim to provide an assessment of current threats and challenges and how these might manifest themselves and how such manifestations can be effectively managed in the future
