| Abstract: | Half-way through his third successive term as Prime Minister of Malta, Mr Dom Mintoff announced his resignation in favour of Dr Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici. Therefore, a change in the foreign policy of Malta was to be expected. In this article, Godfrey A. Pirotta discusses the transition from one Prime Minister to another, and also the changes in Malta's foreign policy after the resignation of Mr. Dom Mintoff. |
