EEO Review : promoting green jobs throughout the crisis - Malta

Abstract

This report gives an overview of green policies and strategies launched and carried out throughout the international economic crisis. It introduces the context in which green employment promotion strategies take place, and then discusses major policies and measures implemented in the sector, namely the National Environmental Policy, the Green Public Procurement National Action Plan, investment aid for business development and environmentally friendly innovation, and investment in energy-saving incentives for the domestic sector.
