dc.description.abstract | The mankind is experiencing a tough period of survival crisis including climate change, environment pollution and energy crisis, etc. The reality compels people to seek for the new development way which is different from the past. ‘Blue Economy’ is the key to open the new door of dealing with the relationship between human and oceans by a proper way in the process of economic development. The purpose of this thesis is to formulate a policy for guiding the sustainable development, operation and management of ‘Blue Economic Zone’ and put forward suggestions for the further development for ‘Blue Economy’ in ‘Blue Economic Zone’. In this thesis, based on the definition of ‘Blue Economy’ put forward by Dr. Awni Behnam—Living with the ocean and from the ocean in a sustainable relationship, the author discusses and analyzes the ‘fresh points’, importance and future of ‘Blue Economy’. As the practice of ‘Blue Economy’, the formation of ‘Blue Economic Zone’ expands the range of ‘Blue Economy’ and has the requirement of effective policy to play the role of guidance and principle for the reasonable development, operation and management of ‘Blue Economic Zone’. Therefore, many advanced methods of analysis and tools can serve for this purpose, such as Big Data, GIS, RS, EIA and Integrated Coastal Zone Management. At the end of this thesis, the author puts forward the guidelines for the sustainable development, operation and management of ‘Blue Economic Zone’ and suggests combining the ‘Blue Economy’ defined by Dr. Awni Behnam and another ‘Blue Economy’ put forward by Gunter Pauli together for creating a new business mode which complies with the guideline. | en_GB |
